Seek First the Kingdom in 2009

I looked for someone to stand up for me against all this, to repair the defenses of the city, to take a stand for me and stand in the gap to protect this land so I wouldn't have to destroy it. I couldn't find anyone. Not one (Ezekiel 22:30 -Message)

This is a year to stoke your prayer life. Satan is involved in an all out effort to hinder the plan of God worldwide and in personal lives. We are standing in the gap, interceding for those around us and commanding Satan to keep his hands off those we know and care about.

Remember that nothing happens without someone praying. Life is not automatic. There is a real battle in the invisible world and your praying opens the avenue for the will of God to come to pass where you pray. Cover your family, your children, your spouse, your church, your co-workers, and your neighbors in prayer. Ask the Father to move in their lives, drawing them to Himself and fulfilling His will and plan in them.

Make sure this year that you make daily time with God TOP priority. Make Him and His kingdom the first part of your day. Word time and prayer time will save you a lot of hassle and regret, and will push you into His highest and best for you in 2009. Start today!
