Word And Spirit Seminar Synopsis

Then Joshua rose early in the morning; and they set out from Acacia Grove and came to the Jordan, he and all the children of Israel, and lodged there before they crossed over. So it was, after three days, that the officers went through the camp; and they commanded the people, saying," When you see the ark of the covenant of the Lord your God, and the priests, the Levites, bearing it, then you shall set out from your place and go after it. Yet there shall be a space between you and it, about two thousand cubits by measure. Do not come near it, that you may know the way by which you must go, for you have not passed this way before." And Joshua said to the people, "Sanctify yourselves, for tomorrow the Lord will do wonders among you." (Joshua 3:1-5)

I attended a Word and Spirit seminar with Randall Grier this past Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday in Gatlinburg, Tennessee. There were roughly 100 people present, and most were ministers from churches all over the US.

Randy Grier took the above scriptures to encourage us to seek the Lord for a fresh manifestation of His presence in the body of Christ. As the Israelites began to follow the Ark at God’s instructions, so we are to ask the Lord for a moving of His Spirit, and then learn to follow the leading of the Holy Spirit. We are to covet the manifest Presence of God and follow the Lord as the Israelites followed the Ark.

Randall told us that the raw power of God is coming to the body of Christ and that we must prepare ourselves for this fresh moving of the Holy Spirit. God told the Israelites in the above scripture that they had not passed this way before. And what is coming to the body of Christ in the manifestation of His presence is greater than anything we have witnessed before.

God told the Israelites to set themselves apart (sanctify themselves) because the Lord would do great things among them. Randy Grier mentioned that the power of God would manifest very strongly, and that the Lord was urging the body of Christ to prepare spiritually for what is ahead. He told the audience that this power that God would release in the body of Christ would bring miracles, and signs and wonders just as the early church had in the book of Acts. But he also warned that it would also produce judgment on those who being hypocritical in their spiritual life.

Rev. Grier mentioned that the Lord told Him that He has been waiting on the body of Christ to prepare for this last great moving of the Holy Spirit. He said that a huge change would occur in January of 2011. The power of God would begin to manifest in a much greater way.

In my blog tomorrow, I’ll share more of what the Lord shared with us through Randy Grier. Let’s purpose to prepare ourselves to be those that God can use to minister to those in darkness around us in the days ahead.
