Build Your Faith in Your Authority in Christ

The Spiritual is wrestling is intense in our day! This is an hour to know who you are in Christ, to take your place of authority in Christ, and to command Satan to leave your family, community, and church alone in Jesus’ name!

I began speaking today on The Clash of Kingdoms. There is a wrestling match between the Kingdom of God and the Kingdom of Darkness. As Christians, we are the only people group on earth that has authority to command Satan and his demonic forces to cease and desist! And the truth is that most Christians neither understand nor walk in their God given authority in Christ!

I’m going to leave you with some scripture that I encourage you to meditate on to build your faith in your authority in Christ Jesus. I’ve used these particular scriptures for years to keep my faith built up.

Luke 10:19
Behold, I give you the authority to trample on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt you.

1 Corinthians 2:6
However, we speak wisdom among those who are mature, yet not the wisdom of this age, nor of the rulers of this age, who are coming to nothing.

Translations of the last phrase of 1 Corinthians 2:6 – who are coming to nothing:

Amplified
…who are being brought to nothing and are doomed to pass away.

Wuest
Who are in the process of being liquidated.

Young’s Literal Translation
…Of those becoming useless.

Moffat
…the dethroned powers that rule this world.

Colossians 1:13 - Amplified
The Father has delivered and drawn us to Himself out of the control and the dominion of darkness and has transferred us into the kingdom of the Son of His love,

Colossians 2:15 - NLT
In this way, He disarmed the spiritual rulers and authorities. He shamed them publicly by his victory over them on the cross.

Having disarmed principalities and powers, He made a public spectacle of them, triumphing over them in it.

Colossians 2:15 - Amplified
God disarmed the principalities and powers that were ranged against us and made a bold display and public example of them, in triumphing over them in Him and in it [the cross].

He stripped all the spiritual tyrants in the universe of their sham authority at the Cross and marched them naked through the streets.

He stripped the rulers and authorities of their power and made a public spectacle of them as he celebrated his victory in Christ.

(22) God has put all things under the authority of Christ and has made him head over all things for the benefit of the church.(23) And the church is his body; it is made full and complete by Christ, who fills all things everywhere with himself.

For he raised us from the dead along with Christ and seated us with Him in the heavenly realms because we are united with Christ Jesus.
