I just found this blog by the pastor. I don't even know who he is. But...I was reading a book by Gordon Lindsay this morning and he using the translation that says "replenish the earth" therefore believes that when Satan was kicked out of heaven planet earth was destroyed. He believes that Satan was the ruler over Eden and had been given dominion over this planet. So...when he fell, there was a void, therefore God created Adam and gave him dominion over Eden and the planet. If that is the case, no wonder Satan hates the human race so much and wants to destroy everyone he can. I know it's just a theory, but it's and interesting one. Just the fact that it is possible should make us even more determined to allow Christ to have total reign over our lives.

Well, as of 8:17am this morning, our daddy will have been in heaven for a week. I miss our daddy so much..... That no words can truly express. Even though he is In a far better place, I miss him in the here and now. I wouldnt have wanted him to be suffering as he was though. It was personally very hard for me to endure the process of his earthly body expiring. It hurt a week ago, and does so now. Mitch, our daddy was an awesome fellow. I would hope that somehow, someway I could have the positive impact on people's lives that our daddy did. I love you, and Rob both... You are great brothers..... And we still have our awesome mother! I love you all! Thank you so much for this post. It means so very much!

Of course a believer doesn't have to wait for a "minister" to sow the seed into his heart. He can do it by himself by reading and meditating alone. I was referring to the ministry of the pastor/teacher in my blog. The pastor/teacher is a "word sower," and is a necessary New Testament ministry. Yes, we all have the Holy Spirit as our teacher (1 John 2:20,27), but that does not and should not minimize the necessity of the office of the teacher in the body of Christ.

Not sure what you mean by: "The sower (the pastor or minister) sows the seed into hearts?" Are you referring to a full-time minister? Any believer may sow the good seed of the Word of God into their own heart. They do not have to wait for a pastor or a person in full-time ministry to sow the Word. Believers can believe and speak for themselves. New believers may need some help getting started though. Thanks.

Interesting article! I think one very important component to changing out beliefs is through inspired action. Often times, through moments of stillness or meditation, we are provided intuitive guidance or hunches of things that we can do to change our belief systems. Sometimes, where the body goes, so will the mind.

Thank you Pastor Mitch that was a good word. I never realized that about the inhabitants being a type of things in our flesh. They surely do become irritants and thorns. It is encouraging to know we are meant to conquer them one by one as sometimes its frustrating you want it all gone immediately! I guess that it is a case of perseverance producing character. Thank you for your teaching!

Great post. We cannot press on if we are looking behind.

I believe that one of the biggest victories Satan accomplished was that of convincing Eve that she needed to be 'like God' - inferring that she was inadequate on some level in her natural form.

This concept of inadequacy has been passed down to every generation. And if we look at most (if not all) sins, we will see that they involve an attempt to build up the flesh.

When we approach God with our tools of acquittal, (confession, repentance, and faith in what Christ accomplished) He takes on permanent amnesia with regards to those sins.

When you know you're right with God, and the devil tries to tell you that you're not, rejoice, because you've got him on the run.
